Scout Sunday

This date marks the 99th anniversary of Scouting in the U.S. Boy Scouts from Yorktown Troop 164 (which St. Andrew’s supports), will assist with service. All scouts are encouraged to wear their scout attire. |

Marriage Sunday
February 15, 2009
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Corinthians 13:13. This Sunday we’ll honor all married couples in the congregation who are celebrating an anniversary this year in a multiple of five (i.e. ending in 5 or 0). |

Outreach Event: Packing Comfort Kits

Any and all hands are welcomed to assist in preparing much needed “comfort kits” for Lutheran missionaries currently serving abroad. Please remember to bring in supplies ahead of time too! |

Ash Wednesday Service
February 25, 2009 – 7:30 p.m.
This service officially begins the Lenten season. Ashes will be available to anyone wishing to receive them. Soup and bread will be served beforehand at 6:45 p.m. Diners are asked to consider bringing bread to share with others. |
